Do you teach 4 year old kindergarteners?

If you are pregnant and working with four-year old children, make sure to notify your doctor, you could be at risk.

There is virus that mainly affects children under 60 months of age: cytomegalovirus. It constitutes a biological danger to female workers, and is considered to be one of the main causes of congenital viral infections in North America. It can be transmitted through contact with fluids that may carry the virus, including saliva, tears and urine. Provision of direct care to children under 3 years of age poses the highest risk to the foetus.
