Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

Did you know that men are less likely than women to report mental health issues? A study found that 34% of men felt that they would be embarrassed or ashamed to take time off work for mental health reasons such as depression or anxiety. In fact, 35% men who did disclose a mental health problem waited more than 2 years to do so.

To bring awareness to the stigma surrounding men’s mental health, we are launching a Mental Fitness Challenge from June 10-28th, 2019!

What's the challenge?

It's easy to feel alone in our struggles with mental health. Many people with mental illness suffer in silence. Through our June weekly surveys, share your experiences to help end the stigma! Take a peek or get a head start here:

Week 1: June 10-14 - Find the questions here

Week 2: June 17-21 - Find the questions here

Week 3: June 24-28 - Find the questions here

How can I sign up?

To get weekly notifications on the week’s challenge, make sure you’re signed up for the Starling program at https://app.starlingminds.com.

"What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation about illnesses that affect not only individuals but their families as well" - Glenn Close
